Let the Power of the Desktop Unleash Your Creativity TouchCast for Desktop brings powerful new features to video producers, including a more robust compositing engine, multi-camera support, video import, and Hot Spot creation.
- At TouchCast, we believe technology should connect us and help us communicate in a more human way. To that end, we are building a family of Smart Video products which includes TouchCast Studio, an award-winning app that turns an iPad into an interactive TV studio; and TeamTime, an end-to-end enterprise video solution that transforms meetings.
- Flipping to the opposite side will see users able to create their own content for publishing to the TouchCast community. Recently updated with a ton of new features and bringing over 60 improvements (according to the developers), TouchCast starts out by asking the user to login using a number of methods or order to do this, including Facebook.
The setup is surprisingly quick and easy: simply connect the TouchCast receiver box to your meeting room display via HDMI. Your table will be free of messy cables and adapters; and everyone can sit anywhere / present from any device by wirelessly communicating with TouchCast. TouchCast Studio is an interactive video recording app that allows students and teachers to create videos with annotation, narration, whiteboard markup, green screen effects, embedded media, and more. Users can start from scratch, or use a template such as video annotation, map annotation, news studio, Lincoln Memorial, how-to videos, and others.

Edo Segal CEO, Co-Founder
Edo is TouchCastʼs global CEO as well as a serial entrepreneur, a prolific inventor and a private investor who has founded, launched and sold several companies. With over 25 years of experience in the technology and media world, Segal is a noted expert in emerging media technologies and platforms, including immersive entertainment, stereoscopic 3D and 360 Video formats. He has invented and patented a wide range of game changing media technologies. Prior to TouchCast, Edo was VP Emerging Platforms at AOL. He joined AOL following the acquisition of Relegence, a real-time search company he founded in 1999.
Paul Field CEO, EMEA
Paul leads TouchCastʼs EMEA operations and heads its London-based subsidiary TouchCast Studios UK. Paul has over 20 years of experience as a digital media executive and newspaper editor. At the Daily Mail, Paul was one of the founders of Mail Online, now the worldʼs biggest newspaper website. Paul is an angel investor and advisor to a number of UK-based start-ups, as well a trustee of Free Word, the international organization promoting freedom of expression. Prior to joining TouchCast in December 2013, Paul was Publisher and Editor of Mail Plus, the Daily Mailʼs paid-for digital editions and apps.

Ali Riaz provides hands-on strategic advice on all aspects of the business including fundraising, sales and marketing, channel development and product strategy. Ali has extensive experience propelling early-stage companies into large, corporate leaders. Prior to joining TouchCast, Ali was the founder and CEO of Attivio, where he was responsible for defining and executing vision and strategy for the company whose core product, Active Intelligence Engine™ (AIE), is the leading unified information access platform. He was also COO and president of global enterprise search company Fast Search & Transfer (FAST), sold to Microsoft for $1.2 billion. Ali also held leadership positions at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Global) and Financial Services Group at Computer Science Corporation (EMEA).
Darin Grant Chief Technology Officer
Darin leads TouchCastʼs technology and development function. Darin has extensive experience in Media and Entertainment, having served in technology leadership roles within Visual Effects and Animation Studios such as Dreamworks Animation and Digital Domain. Prior to joining TouchCast, Darin was a consultant to Google, Autodesk, The Foundry, and as VP of Engineering for Solid Angle SL, serving a key role in it its acquisition by Autodesk in 2016. He combines his expertise in computer generated imagery, digital operations, and his passion for telepresence technologies in his role overseeing technology and information security for TouchCast.
Erick Schonfeld Head of Growth, Co-Founder
As a co-founder, Erick helps define the strategy, growth initiatives, and marketing at TouchCast. Erick's professional career has spanned from being a noted technology journalist and events producer to a serial startup founder. Prior to joining TouchCast, he was the Executive Producer of the DEMO conferences and Editor-in-Chief of TechCrunch (which he helped to grow from 5 to 50 people, and was sold to AOL). Prior to TechCrunch, Erick was Editor-at-Large for Business 2.0 magazine, and a senior writer at Fortune magazine, covering technology.
Mark Piesanen Chief Operating Officer
Mark is responsible for TouchCastʼs business operations and customer success, including key strategic partnerships with Apple and Accenture. He has over 20 years of experience in media and technology companies. Prior to joining TouchCast, Mark was a Publisher Sales Director and Business Development Executive at Google. Formerly a management consultant specializing in the digital transition in media & entertainment; disruptive innovation strategy; systems and operations. Former television producer & award-winning journalist.
Charley Miller Head of Product, Co-Founder
Charley leads TouchCastʼs product development and is responsible for its product roadmap. Prior to joining TouchCast, he led product development on projects for Intel, Hasbro, Kognito, the New York City Office of Emergency Management and numerous NYC startups. His games have been featured in the NY Times and he was commissioned by NYU for their No Quarter Exhibition.
Michael Kohlmeyer-Hyman EVP Business Affairs
Michael is responsible for business and legal activities at TouchCast. For the last 25 years he has been an investor in, trusted advisor to, and a senior executive of technology companies. Prior to joining TouchCast, Michael served a similar role at bMuse, the media technology incubator. He co-founded a boutique business strategy and branding company and served as SVP and General Counsel of Fundtech Ltd.

David leads the marketing function at TouchCast. He brings more than twenty-five yearsʼ experience from journalism, B2B marketing, consumer digital advertising, market intelligence and direct response. Heʼs worked with companies such as Readerʼs Digest, Gartner, IBM, HP, Unilever, Omnicom, Digitas and Francisco Partners. Prior to joining TouchCast, David was the CMO of Trefis, a Boston-based financial start up, and the co-founder of The Levy Group, a content marketing and strategy firm which focused on hi-tech and enterprise software companies.
